Shipping methods and liability
Buyers can choose one of the following shipping methods:
- simple mail
- registered mail
- insured registered mail
- others only after email contact with merchant
The merchant endeavours to execute the shipment following the buyer's choice. If this cannot be done, the buyer will, aniway, guarantee his part in the liability as described under the buyer's prefered method.
The buyer is fully liable for the risk of loss or damage only in the case of shipping by ordinary mail.
For an uninsured registered shipment, the merchant covers up to a value of € 75 per shipment.
Insured registered shipments are fully covered by the merchant, in this case the buyer is free of risk.
If any other shipment method has been agreed on, the terms and conditions of the company executing the shipment will count.
Shipping cost
Prices do not include delivery costs. These costs depend on the following:
- the total weight of all ordered products
- the country of destination
- the chosen shipment method
Orders of more than one product can be shipped in separate parts. This implies no extra costs.
What is my delivery cost?
To know the cost of your delivery, please proceed until the page where you can choose a payment method. You will find the delivery cost on the top left of that page. From there, you can still step back to any point in your order.
Payment
One of the following payment methods can be used from any country:
- Credit Card: VISA, EuroCard, MasterCard or American Express
- Paypal
- Bank or postal transfer (manually via your bank or the post office
Moreover, Belgian residents can also use these methods:
- Dexia NetBanking
- KBC Online
- RES
- Cash or credit card in our boutique at Kortrijk
Credit cards are only charged for the part that is to be shipped. In the case of partial delivery, the shipping costs will be charged together with the first part. Only when less than half of the order can be delivered in total, a rebate on shipping costs may be allowed.
For credit card and Paypal payments, the payment costs are on behalf of the merchant. In all other cases, these are
on behalf of the buyer.
In all other cases than credit card, Paypal, KBC-online (BE, Dexia NetBanking (BE or RES (BE, the order will be treated upon receipt of the total amount on the account of the merchant, unless explicitly stated in an other way by in an email from the merchant to the buyer.
Renunciation
The right of renunciation (refusal of goods is valid for remote buyers only. (Online or by telephone Customers in the boutique can see all available products and try any garment.
Remote buyers are allowed to return their order within 7 days, without any reason or extra costs, at the following conditions:
- product has not been used or worn
- not valid for thongs etc. or erotic toys (hygienic reasons...
- orders beyond catalogue or specially customized items cannot be returned
Delivery costs remain on behalf of the buyer.
Of course, products which were shipped by error or which are damaged or malfunctioning at delivery can be returned in order to have them replaced.
Returning goods
Remote customers can return products until 7 (seven days after delivery, after notifying us by email. Notification happens within 2 (two days after arrival of the product.
Shipping costs for returning are on charge of the buyer.
Products are to be returned in the original wrapping, without stains or any other damage. You find the shipping address on top of this page.
Exchange
It is possible to exchange goods which have been ordered on shop.intimi.com under the same conditions as described for returning, above.
Every exchange has to be confirmed by us in an email, however.
Refund
Refunds will be done over the same channel as the original payment if possible:
- credit card: the merchant refunds via the buyer's credit card issuer. The merchant does not need bank account details.
- Paypal: refund on buyer's Paypal account.
- KBC-online, Dexia NetBanking, Belgian bank transfer: by bank transfer. Seller knows bank account number.
- RES: via RES
- Original payment was done by bank transfer from out of Belgium: the merchant agrees on a refund method with buyer via email.
Option 1: Refund via buyer's Paypal account, transaction costs on behalf of the merchant.
Option 2: merchant transfers to buyer's bank account, costs on behalf of the buyer.
